The teachers and staff at Grace Christian Academy are dedicated to academic excellence and the spiritual well-being of our students.  They encourage personal responsibility, a giving heart, and Godly character in students so they will be equipped to serve and lead in their communities.

In over 22 years working at CCSD as an Elementary, Special Education teacher, Educational Computer Specialist, and Special Education Instructional Facilitator she always felt that there was something missing: the ability to share her faith and belief in God. After 3 years of teaching at Grace Christian Academy she fell in love with the school & agreed to become the principal. When not working with children, Mrs. Rodriguez enjoys photography, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Kruger is one of our parents that fell in love with the school. She studied Photography in college and has done much traveling since then. She has a passion for organization and a newfound love for Administration. When she isn't in the office, she enjoys hiking, biking, walking the dogs (or ferrets), and watching the sunset at the park. 

Peggy Sileo

  Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Sileo has a B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with a Literacy Endorsement. She taught for five years in public and private schools, prior to being a stay at home mom. For the past 12 years she has substituted in Iowa and Clark County in Iowa and Clark County in a variety of settings. Peggy has lived in Boulder City for the past eight years,

with her husband Jason and their 3 children. She enjoys camping and knitting.

Angela Palumbo

First Grade Teacher

Ms. Palumbo, native to Boulder City, is in her third year teaching here at Grace Christian Academy. She has studied Environmental Science at both UNLV and Nevada State College, and is passionate about all environmental causes. At school, her fabulous hands-on teaching style can frequently be observed while she is teaching outside with her children. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and significant other, hiking, biking, and exploring.

Janeen Throckmorton

Upper Elementary Teacher

Ms. Throckmorton has lived in Boulder City for two years. She is originally from Iowa, where she taught for 20 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, with a math endorsement from Simpson College. She earned her Master's degree in Collaborative Learning and Teaching from Graceland University. She is a proud mom of one son. When she isn't teaching, she likes hanging out with her son, swimming, walking, and meeting new people. 

Sandra Piche

Preschool Teacher

Ms. Piche is a 20 year veteran of the Clark County School District. Upon retiring she decided that she still loved teaching students and came to Grace Christian Academy as our Science and Art teacher. She is now teaching our sweet Preschoolers! She enjoys spending time with her grandkids, gardening, riding her bike and traveling to warm destinations. 

 Fabia Tregnan

PE Teacher

Mrs. Tregnan has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and is finishing her education classes at Nevada State College. She is grateful for having been able to stay at home to raise her two children. She is a member of Saint Andrew Catholic Church and enjoys working with children of all ages. Mrs. Tregnan likes to go on trail walks, go to the movies and spend time with family.

Chris Stewart

Second/Third Teacher

Mrs. Stewart received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and taught 6th grade in Payson, AZ. She and her husband and four children have moved all around the beautiful southwest and settled in Boulder City six years ago. Teaching and sharing about God’s great love for His children has been a passion of hers for many years whether through children’s ministry at her church, homeschooling, or in the classroom. When not at school, she can be found snuggled up with a good book, cooking, or spending time with her family.
